Opportunity:
ER RN
Job Details:
• Block schedule required
• Rotating weekends required
• No on-call required
• 48-hour shifts approved
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 12-hour orientation period
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Any color
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Valid Washington or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Required skills include: airway management, management of vented patients, arterial line management, management of dysrhythmias, central line management, management of IV drips, isolation precautions, triage skills, continuous IV sedation, titration of IV vasopressors, and management of patients with multi-organ dysfunction
• Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 90+ patients
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility operates as a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds and an emergency department housing 23 beds across 15 rooms. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services. The organization is equipped with modern charting technology and offers a full spectrum of emergency care for patients of all ages.
