Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

• 3x12 shift schedule with start times of 7:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM available
• Shift options include 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Rotating holiday requirement
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:5
• Provide emergency care for patients of all ages in a 25+ bed emergency department including hallway beds
• Work in a New York State Designated Stroke Center
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
• Telemetry skills required including ability to read strips
• Experience with drips and ventilators required
• No floating requirement
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Charge nurse available but not assigned to travelers
• Nurse aides available on unit
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7
• Any scrub color permitted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Active New York State nursing license in good standing required
• All requested time off must be included with submission and profile - no exceptions

The department is supported by a robust clinical team including charge nurses, nurse aides, hospitalists, and 24/7 respiratory therapy. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and is committed to delivering high-quality emergency care to its patient population.
