Opportunity:
MRI Tech
Job Details:
• 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• No on-call requirements
• No floating between facilities - home scan site is Richland with virtual cockpit equipment physically located on-site
• Must be trained to use the steering client for the Siemens virtual cockpit to scan for remote sites including Greer, Tuomey, and Parkridge campuses
• Overnight scans at remote campuses will be the primary priority; will assist scanning Richland patients when no remote scans are needed
• Previous Children's Hospital experience preferred - candidate must be strong in pediatrics as role is almost exclusively pediatric scanning
• Perform inpatient and outpatient MRI scanning for adults and pediatrics of all ages including neonates, stroke, and trauma patients
• Must be ARRT certified (ARMRIT certification will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT MR, BLS
• Required equipment experience: GE and Siemens, 1.5T and 3T
• Required skills include: abdomen, brain, chest, cervical, ER/trauma, female and male pelvis, hip/bony pelvis, knee, lumbar, shoulder, thoracic, peripheral IV starts, surface coils, PACS, image post-processing, pediatric acute care, and NICU/PICU scanning
• Patient ratio is 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
