Opportunity:

Labor & Delivery RN

Job Details:

• 3x12 hour day shifts
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
• Charting system experience required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Facility delivers 200-300 births per month
• Experience in Labor & Delivery and High Risk Antepartum required
• Must be comfortable with triage of obstetrical patients
• Experience with IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration required
• Must be able to maintain central lines (CVC/PICC)
• Experience with anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy required
• Must be able to assist with high risk deliveries
• Must be able to circulate for and recover C-sections
• Sterile vaginal exam experience required
• Must follow isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols
• Teaching hospital environment

Facility:

This facility is a teaching hospital with an active Labor & Delivery unit that manages 200-300 births per month. The unit supports high-risk antepartum care and provides comprehensive obstetrical services including C-section support, triage, and advanced maternal care. The facility is equipped to handle complex maternal cases and maintains a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
