Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Inpatient setting with weekend rotation required
• No RTO approved outside of one or two long weekend requests
• Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions
• Serve as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups
• Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards and address assessment areas requiring attention
• Use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques
• Establish individualized care and discharge plans and communicate plans to appropriate parties
• Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
• Supervise assigned assistants
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
• ICU experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required if license obtained on or after January 2007
• Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
