Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required with 4-5 years preferred in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
• Heart experience highly preferred
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Specialty equipment used on unit includes IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
• Common patient diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention (TCAR), respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, AAA, trauma, and major post-operative cases
• Scrub color: Navy
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active NY RN license required with NURSYS verification
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
