Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule working 5x8-hour shifts
• Must be available weekends, potentially all weekend shifts
• Float between inpatient and acute rehabilitation settings daily
• Must have EPIC experience
• Strong clinical skills required in Acute Inpatient Hospital Setting and Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation
• Neuro/ICU experience required
• Minimum two years of occupational therapy experience preferred in hospital or acute rehab settings
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required if license obtained on or after January 2007
• Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards and address assessment areas requiring attention
• Use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques
• Establish individualized care and discharge plans and communicate plans to appropriate parties
• Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
• Supervise assigned assistants
