Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Wednesday through Sunday schedule, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Acute care setting
• Weekend requirement included in schedule
• Holiday requirement included in schedule
• No on-call or standby requirements at this time
• Perform 6-8 exams per 8-hour day including all routine/general ultrasound exams and OB studies
• Perform vascular studies including Carotid, DVT, and ABI/TBI; vascular experience preferred
• Work with GE Logiq E10 ultrasound machines and Parks FloLab Medical Doppler in a department with 4 rooms
• Use EPIC for electronic medical records and SECTRA PACS for imaging
• In-house radiologist support available 24/7
• No floating or coverage of other departments required
• Personal scrubs required; facility scrubs provided if working in OR
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS, RDMS (OB/GYN) via ARDMS, and RVT via ARDMS
Facility:
This acute care facility features a fully equipped ultrasound department with six GE Logiq E10 ultrasound machines across four dedicated rooms, as well as a Parks Medical Doppler unit. The department is supported by a dedicated Radiology Supervisor and Lead Sonographer, with an in-house radiologist available around the clock to ensure comprehensive imaging support and quality patient care.
