Opportunity:
RN - Med/Surg
Job Details:
• 12-hour rotating shifts with rotating weekends
• Float to other Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• 31-bed Med-Surg/Oncology unit located in the Main Tower
• Unit secretaries available from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM with techs available on all shifts
• Document using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Utilize iPhones for communication via Immobile app with computers and scanners available in every room
• Block scheduling available
• Must have excellent physical assessment and documentation skills
• Experience caring for acute care stroke patients required
• Strong time management and critical thinking skills required
• Knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs and HAIs required
• Well-established A.I.D.E.T behaviors required
• Chemotherapy experience is a plus
• Minimum one year of acute care experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs with white or ceil blue jacket if worn
• 50+ mile radius required
