Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts on the 2nd Floor of the Main Hospital in the NICU unit
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• No on-call requirements
• Self-scheduling available with floating as needed
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital or specialty experience required
• Level III NICU experience required
• Must be able to attend deliveries including C-sections
• Experience with BCPAP and HFNC equipment required
• Patient ratio of 2:3
• Documentation systems used: Meditech and CPN (Meditech experience preferred)
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Must wear royal blue and/or white scrubs
• No artificial nails, gel, next gen, or similar nail enhancements permitted
• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings
• Body art should be covered whenever possible

This facility is a well-established hospital featuring a Level III NICU with a dedicated team of neonatal care professionals. The unit utilizes advanced equipment including BCPAP and HFNC to support the most vulnerable patient population. The facility maintains high standards of care and operates with a self-scheduling model to support work-life balance for its staff.
