Opportunity:

RN - LDRP

Job Details:

• Work in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building
• Unit consists of 10 LDR beds, 3 triage beds, and 2 OR suites
• Patient ratio of 2 laboring patients per RN
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 2 LDR nurses, and 1 nursery nurse
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 2 LDR nurses, and 1 nursery nurse
• Perform typical procedures including inductions, cesarean sections, and spontaneous vaginal deliveries
• Work with GE monitoring, Novii Wireless, Spectrum IV Pumps, and CADD epidural PCA equipment
• EMR system: Meditech
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS
• Preferred certifications: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS
• Scrub color requirement: OR scrubs on unit
• Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor preferred

Facility:

This medical center features a dedicated LDRP unit staffed by a team of 30 RNs with a great mix of new and experienced nurses. The unit is equipped with modern monitoring and IV pump technology to support comprehensive labor and delivery care. The team is highly engaged and focused on growing the unit while maintaining a welcoming and collaborative work environment.
