Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

• Flex day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Shifts begin on Wednesdays
• Travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours during orientation week due to midweek start
• Care for primarily adult medical/surgical patients with occasional pediatric patients
• Serve as Charge RN when needed
• Broad scope of practice including medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient, and occasional pediatric care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the Nursing Process to meet physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients across the lifespan
• Collaborate with providers, nursing leadership, and support staff to ensure safe and high-quality patient care
• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN license required
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Personal transportation is required as no public transportation is available in the area
• Pediatric-only RNs will not be considered

This is a 25-bed independent nonprofit Critical Access Hospital serving a historic rural region of Vermont. The facility provides a broad range of services including primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services.
