Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg / Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Every third weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be willing to float across all campuses
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1
• 15-bed unit providing all types of med surg care
• Experience with heparin drips required
• Remote telemetry/tele tech unit monitoring
• Navy blue solid scrubs required
• Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays unless unit is closed
• Minimum 24 months of Med Surg / Med Surg Tele experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted - must have completed at least 1 travel contract within the previous 18 months
• Proficiency caring for all patient types with a variety of med surg patients required
• EPIC experience required
• Telemetry/cardiac background highly preferred
• Recent/current charge experience required
• Preceptor experience nice to have
• Skills checklist specific to Med Surg / Med Surg Tele required
• Active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license required
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within 24 months preferred
• Required certification: BLS (AHA or ARC)
