Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

• Flex day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Travelers will start on Wednesdays
• During orientation week, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
• Primarily adult medical/surgical patients with occasional pediatric patients
• Broad scope of practice including medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient, and occasional pediatric care
• Opportunity to serve as Charge RN when needed
• May be asked to act as a Preceptor
• Gain valuable Critical Access Hospital experience
• Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN License required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Meditech experience preferred
• Personal vehicle required - no public transportation available and nearest major airport is approximately two hours away
• Traveler is responsible for securing their own housing accommodations

This facility is a 25-bed independent nonprofit Critical Access Hospital serving a historic rural region of Vermont. The facility provides a broad range of services including primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services.
