Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath/EP Lab

Job Details:

• Day shift hours primarily 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday with flex scheduling based on patient schedule
• On-call required Monday through Friday approximately 1-2 nights per week from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call required 1 weekend per month, 24 hours Saturday and Sunday
• Must be within 30 minutes of the facility to meet call requirements
• Float between Cath Lab and EP Lab
• Work within 4-lab unit consisting of 2 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs
• Cath Lab teams consist of 3-4 person teams; EP Lab teams consist of 3 person teams
• Perform procedures including right/left heart caths, PCI, complex PCI, diagnostic/interventional peripherals, EKOS, PFO occluders, nitric oxide studies, pacemaker/ICD implants, EP ablations, Watchman implants, and interventional radiology
• Operate Siemens X-Ray equipment and GE Mac Lab recording system
• Document using Meditech EMR
• Royal blue scrubs required and provided by facility
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Complex PCI experience required including Impella placement/management and IABP placement/management
• Recording experience with GE Mac Lab EMR required
• EP Lab experience preferred including EP device placement, EP ablations, and EP studies
• Peripheral vascular intervention experience preferred
• Flexibility with scheduling and ability to take extra call preferred
• Required certification: one of RCIS, RCES, or ARRT

This facility is a dedicated cardiac and specialty hospital offering advanced cardiovascular services including a fully equipped Cardiac Cath and EP Lab. The unit operates with experienced teams providing a wide range of interventional and electrophysiology procedures. The facility utilizes modern imaging and recording technology to support complex cardiac procedures and maintains a collaborative team environment with specialized staff.
