Opportunity:

RT Traveler for Golisano

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts with weekends and holidays as scheduled
• 6 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule (weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts)
• Handle 20-25 treatments per day
• Work in NICU and/or PICU settings treating pediatric and neonatal patients
• Preference scheduling permitted with commitment to weekend shift requirements
• Will not be the only RT in house - facility prefers to staff 8 RTs per shift
• Perform all aspects of respiratory care including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, airway management, and intrahospital transport
• Operate Hamilton and Servo ventilators, Respironics and Hamilton BiPAP, and Fisher Paykel HFNC equipment
• Assist with intubation (assist only, not independent)
• Must have 2 or more years of experience working in PICU and/or level 4 or greater NICU
• RRT credential preferred
• Charting system: EPIC
• Acute care setting
• No floating requirements
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• Scrub color: Stone/Light Gray
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NRP

Facility:

This facility is a specialized pediatric healthcare center providing comprehensive care for neonatal and pediatric patients. The department is well-staffed with a preferred ratio of 8 respiratory therapists per shift and features an intensivist or hospitalist in house at all times. The facility utilizes advanced respiratory equipment and technology, including Hamilton and Servo ventilators, and operates within an acute care setting with a strong focus on specialized neonatal and pediatric respiratory care.
