Opportunity:

MRI Technologist

Job Details:

• Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM start (8-hour shifts may be discussed if preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• On-call required on weekends only from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (facility usually staffs Saturdays)
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Perform MRI procedures including neuro, MSK, abdomen, MRCPs, and breast exams (no cardiac)
• Operate GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima equipment
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics; adolescent experience preferred
• Skills required include abdomen, adult acute care, adult outpatient, brain, breast, cervical, chest, ER/trauma, face/soft tissue neck, female pelvis, gradient echo imaging, hip/bony pelvis, image post-processing, knee, lumbar, male pelvis, maximum intensity projection (MIP), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), PACS, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, shoulder, spin echo images, starting peripheral IVs, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, and thoracic
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, ARRT (R)(MRI), and California Radiologic Technologist Certification
• California IV certification preferred prior to start
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
• 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
