Opportunity:

MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Weekend coverage required: Saturday and Sunday, 16 hours per day from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Additional 8-hour shift on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday evening from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Average daily caseload of 20-25 patients per 24 hours across the department
• Department operates one Philips scanner
• Traveler will never work alone; caseload is shared by department, not assigned per tech
• No on-call requirement
• No floating required
• 2 years of experience as a registered MRI tech required
• Required certifications: BCLS, ARRT (MR)
• IV starts required; PACS and contrast experience preferred
• Work experience setting required: Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma
• MRI procedure experience required: Abdomen, MRCP
• Charting system: Cerner and Fuji Synapse
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
• Parking is free for travelers
• Patients served: Adults and Geriatrics

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center, as well as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). With 855 total staffed beds, the facility is equipped to handle a wide range of complex medical cases and provides a dynamic environment for healthcare professionals seeking high-acuity experience.
