Opportunity:

RN - Telemetry/Medical-Surgical

Job Details:

• Render professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit
• Provide comprehensive clinical documentation including care plans each shift
• Communicate patient information through bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding using AIDET framework
• Participate in daily unit-based safety huddles
• Monitor and maintain knowledge of unit-based nurse sensitive indicators including CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, HAPU, Falls, Hand Hygiene, and VAE
• Actively participate in quality initiatives and performance improvement efforts
• Serve as preceptor for new nurses when needed
• Effectively delegate aspects of care and unit activities to other nursing personnel
• Collaborate with nursing students and instructors
• Complete dysrhythmia course prior to completion of orientation (required for all telemetry-based departments)
• Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Current New Hampshire RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Graduate of an approved nursing program preferred
• Up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract may be cancelled
