Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• NICU and/or PICU experience required (hard stop)
• Required certifications: BCLS, RRT, BLS, NRP, PALS
• Charting system experience required; facility uses EPIC
• Scrub color: Any or facility-branded T-shirts/jackets
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working with servo ventilators, nitric oxide, and high-frequency oscillators
• Required skills include: aerosol therapy, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, intubation assist, mechanical ventilation weaning, arterial blood gas interpretation, tracheostomy care, NICU, pediatric critical care, and emergency department experience
• Patients served include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and adults
• Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests permitted; no RTO allowed during first week of assignment
• Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and rapid response teams

This is a 400-bed children's acute care teaching hospital with a daily census of approximately 320 patients. The facility provides specialized care for patients ranging from neonates to adolescents and offers comprehensive support services including rapid response teams and interpretation services. The organization maintains high standards for clinical excellence and supports a wide range of complex pediatric and neonatal care needs.
