Job Details:

• Work night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy required
• NICU and Pediatric experience required
• Must be able to intubate
• Newborn experience is required
• Will attend deliveries; no NICU on site
• Perform basic and critical respiratory care services
• Provide respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients with respiratory disease as ordered by physician
• Administer aerosol and oxygen therapy while maintaining charts
• Draw arterial blood gases per policy and physician order
• Provide care to ventilator patients
• Assist in department record keeping and training and supervision of new employees
• Perform drainage procedures and provide additional patient care for cardiorespiratory disease
• Complete paperwork, electronic medical records, flow sheets, and charges for each patient
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential preferred
• Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required
• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program required
