Opportunity:

RRT NICU PVH RT

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 18:30–07:00 (various days of the week)
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU and pediatric experience required
• NICU experience must be reflected in work history
• First-time travelers accepted if required experience is met
• Required certifications: RRT, State License, ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Gray top and black bottoms
• Perform respiratory therapy services across neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations
• Skills include but are not limited to: adult critical care, CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency oscillator, bubble CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, mechanical ventilation and weaning, intubation assist, nitric oxide administration, arterial and capillary blood gas interpretation and drawing, neonatal transports, bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care and management, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol medication administration
• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Block scheduling type
• Up to two pre-approved time-off days available
