Opportunity:

RN - SICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Located on the 2nd floor of Building 7 within the Surgical ICU unit
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for high acuity patients including post-CABG patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
• Work alongside a team of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech per shift
• Unit consists of 26 beds
• Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
• Perform procedures including chest tube management, central line care, and medication drips
• Operate specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• NIH certification required
• TNCC preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
• Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive and engaged attitude

Facility:

This facility is a large trauma center offering a comprehensive Surgical ICU equipped with advanced technology including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO. The unit supports a high-acuity patient population including trauma, post-surgical, and cardiovascular cases, staffed by an experienced team of registered nurses, charge nurses, and patient care technicians across both day and night shifts.
