Job Details:

• Monday through Friday day shift schedule with 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Shift hours are dependent on patient volumes and may extend as late as 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM
• No on-call required
• Schedule will be discussed with manager during interview
• Must be proficient with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator - hard requirement
• Center operates with 2 therapists per linac with an average of 35 patients per day across 3 linacs
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with cancer-related diagnoses
• Epic charting system experience within the last 18 months required and must be clearly documented on profile
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT (T), BLS
• Skills required include: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ARIA, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Radiation Safety, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), TrueBeam, and Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Pre-approved time off: one request permitted

Facility:

This radiation oncology facility operates three linear accelerator units, each treating an average of 35 patients per day. The center provides comprehensive cancer care with interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility treats a broad range of cancer-related diagnoses and utilizes advanced technology to deliver high-quality radiation therapy to adult and geriatric patient populations.
