Opportunity:

Interventional Radiology RN

Job Details:

• 4x10-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call rotation every 5th weekend with no callback minimum
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 1:1 patient ratio serving adult and geriatric populations
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required with Interventional Radiology experience
• First-time travelers are welcome but must have Interventional Radiology experience
• Blocked schedules cannot be accommodated
• May be floated to CAMC General Lab CDL
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
• Parking is free for travelers
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be through American Heart Association)
• WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission but active WV license required to start
• Special procedures include: Angiogram, Fistulogram, Permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, Mechanical Thrombectomy, and Embolization
• Patient diagnoses include: CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, Stenosis, AAA, Stroke, and Aneurysm
• Required skills include: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty, Cardioversion, Carotid Angiography, Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Cerebral Angiography, Dialysis Graft Interventional, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, Procedural Sedation Administration and Monitoring, Sheath Removal and Monitoring, Stent Graft Placement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), and Vascular Closure Systems

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center serving as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). With 838 total staffed beds and a robust interdisciplinary support system including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more, this facility is equipped to deliver comprehensive, high-acuity care to its patient population.
