Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technician

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of EP lab experience required; Cath, IR, and EP experience preferred
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• On-call required
• Will float to all 3 hospital locations within 20 miles
• Block scheduling not available
• Local candidates accepted at same rate
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or Red Cross); RCVT and RCIS preferred
• Charting system experience required; Epic used at facility
• Scrub color: White
• Required skills include: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, interpretation of dysrhythmias, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, tilt table study, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulator, scrub/maintain sterile field, and isolation precautions/PPE
• EKG and pharmacology test required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each; travelers will be cancelled if failed
• Required modules must be completed prior to start date and are recorded via SilkRoad
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; requests submitted after will not be approved
• 2 references from a direct supervisor, manager, ANM, or director required
• Nicotine-free candidates only; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required

This short-term acute care teaching facility operates across multiple hospital locations and features 521 staffed beds. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires clinicians to float across facilities to meet patient needs. The facility offers free parking and utilizes Epic for charting, supporting a well-rounded and modern clinical environment.
