Description

Siemens Healthineers is currently seeking candidates for a Nuclear Medicine position that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Hackensack, NJ. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Requirements:
  • Active ARRT certification, Nuclear Medicine and CT license plus PET experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in PET within modality

Travel PET/CT Technologist
About Your Role:
As a Travel PET/CT Technologist, you will deliver advanced diagnostic imaging services by combining Positron Emission Tomography (PET) with Computed Tomography (CT) technology. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and diagnostic precision in a variety of clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
  • Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
  • Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation.
  • Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.
