Description

Siemens Healthineers is currently seeking candidates for a Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist position that will provide support in Richmond, VA . This is a travel healthcare contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:
  • Richmond, VA (Mobile bus within 50 minutes of downtown Richmond)
  • Modality: Nuclear Medicine
  • Equipment: United Imaging uMI 550
  • Schedule: 3x12's Mon/Tues/Wed 8a-5:30p (Includes drive time to and from, early set up and wrap up time), Mileage will be reimbursed $0.70 per mile and If working 30+ hours per week, they will be provided a $15.00 per month cellphone allowance.
  • Pay: $3,400 total weekly gross (eligible for benefits)

Requirements:
  • Active ARRT (N) certification or CNMT and PET experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience within your modality
About Your Role:
As a Travel PET/CT Technologist, you will deliver advanced diagnostic imaging services by combining Positron Emission Tomography (PET) with Computed Tomography (CT) technology. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and diagnostic precision in a variety of clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.

· Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.

· Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

· Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets.

· Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation.

· Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

· Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.
