  • BLS
  • State license for PT
    Job requirements
  • Inpatient Physical Therapy position available
  • ICU experience is preferred
  • Experience in the Acute Rehab Level of Care (IRF) is preferred
  • Competence with SCI/TBI
  • Ability to manage patients recovering from neurological impairments such as stroke
  • Confident in evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, family training, and equipment prescription
    Schedule information
  • Monday-Friday, 8-430
  • 1 Saturday per month required
  • If holiday falls on M-F, required to work unless prior arrangements made
  • Not required to work Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
  • Sun-Thurs 8:30a-5p, First to Float
    Unit specific information
  • Primary placement in the Acute Rehab Unit (ARU)
  • Float to the Acute Inpatient units pending census
  • Float to the acute inpatient hospital, covering cardiac, neuro, med/tele, oncology, and acute surgical floors
    Additional Details
  • Modules are required to be done before the start of assignment (3-4 hours non-billable to the hospital)
  • Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years)
  • Unit managers will decide final holiday scheduling
  • Must work in Acute Rehab Unit + Main Hospital
  • 24 bed inpatient rehab facility in the heart of East Sacramento
  • Average length of stay is 13 days

My review isn’t about the recruiter at all. The position for Rochester, NY psychiatry, I don’t recommend this position. It turns into 60 hours of straight pay, they take advantage of their travelers, no weekends off, 5-6 days a week depending on when they want to put you on call. They schedule you 5 days a week to tell you it’s only 4 however your agency will pay you for the 60 hours, which isn’t what anyone signs up for. They don’t tell you that you have to work 60 hours of on call until you get there. You will work 5-6 days a week here.
