Facility Overview

• Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center is a nonprofit acute care hospital with 404 licensed beds, located in northwest metropolitan Phoenix.
• The hospital is the eighth largest in the Valley and has capacity to expand to nearly 500 beds.
• Specialties include cardiac services, women’s health and maternity, robotic surgery, orthopedics, and nationally recognized stroke care.
• The campus serves as a base for a BannerAir helicopter.
• Emphasizes patient and family involvement through the Partners in Caring program.

Job Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 24 months of current ICU experience required.
• Travel experience preferred.

Certifications

• Must have active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certifications at time of submission.
• Required certifications include:

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)

Licensing

• Must hold an active Arizona RN license at time of submission.
• License verification must be less than 30 days old.
• No license hits allowed.
• Compact license holders allowed if Arizona license is active.

Vaccinations

• Flu vaccination required.
• Banner declinations can be applied for; vaccination status must be included in submission notes.

Other Requirements

• Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will not be considered.
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license.
• Background requirements are strict and must be attested to immediately.
• Resume must include all facilities worked at, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
• Skills checklist specific to the discipline required (must be less than 1 year old).
• Banner Cover Page must be completely filled out with all requested information.
• Return to Office (RTO) requests:

  • Must be less than 7 days.
  • Not approved during the first week of assignment or holidays.

Assignment Details

• Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start.
• Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
• Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.

This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs who meet the specific licensing, certification, and compliance requirements and are open to working at Banner Del Webb Medical Center in Arizona.
