Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Temporary Position

Job Description

• Work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) to implement treatment plans.
• Assist patients with exercises and administer therapeutic modalities such as heat and electrical stimulation.
• Provide education on post-treatment care.
• Observe and document patients' progress, including applying massage and stretches.
• Help patients use assistive devices like walkers and canes.
• Record treatment sessions and report findings to the supervising PT.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of home health experience (required).
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Active Michigan state license at the time of submission.
