Registered Nurse (RN) - Sioux City, Iowa (Temp)

Job Overview

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: CERNER.
Work hours: 36-40 hours/week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
Limited time off allowed during holiday periods (11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26).

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of previous step down nursing experience.
At least 1 completed travel nursing contract.
Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the job market.
Required certifications:
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
State License: Iowa (Compact license allowed).

Work history/resume.
Skills checklist (completed within 1 year).
License verification.
Copies of required certifications.
One supervisory reference at time of submission.
Proof of taxable address (one of the following):
- Driver’s License
- Current Utility Bill
- Lease/Rental Agreement
- Mortgage Statement/Bill
- Homeowner’s or Renter’s Insurance Statement/Bill
- Voter Registration
- Bank Statement
- Auto Insurance
- Tax Return

This position offers same-day interviews and requires readiness for immediate communication.
