Description

Travel Nurse Opportunity: Medical - Surgical (Telemetry)

Job Details

Specialty: Medical - Surgical (Telemetry)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts
Schedule: Weekends and holidays expected
Start Date: December 1 only
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
Location Restriction: No local travelers within 50 miles of the facility

Requirements

Registered Nurse license required
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam
Current AHA BLS Certification
ACLS AHA Certification required
Knowledge of Critical Paths
Charge Nurse experience preferred
Documented professional developmental activities

Testing & Onboarding

Pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding (one attempt only)
Tests administered remotely via Zoom within 48 hours of offer
Passing score: 85% (no retakes or remediation)
Study guide provided for preparation

Additional Information

Must be willing to float to like units and overflow areas
Flu vaccination required during compliance
Orientation occurs biweekly
All return-to-office (RTO) requests must be submitted at time of application
