Description

Job Opportunity: Sonographer (Cardiovascular with Vascular Experience)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team in patient care.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Work schedule includes 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
Limited time off allowed during holiday periods (11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26).

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of previous cardiovascular sonographer experience with vascular experience.
At least 1 completed travel contract.
Must have current skills checklist completed within 1 year.
Required certifications:
- ARDMS
- BCLS
- CCI - RCIS
- RDCS
Valid Iowa state license.
Submission must include:
- Work history/resume
- License verification
- Copy of required certifications
- One supervisory reference
- Proof of taxable address (e.g., driver’s license, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)

Additional Information

Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
On-call and charge/precept pay available.

This position is ideal for experienced cardiovascular sonographers seeking a temporary assignment in Iowa with a reputable healthcare system.
