Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Temporary Position

Location: Glens Falls, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years RN experience required
    • Minimum 3 years ICU/CCU experience required
    • Travel nursing experience required
  • Skills:
    • EPIC experience required (must note proficiency on profile)
    • Must be willing to float to Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Licenses & Certifications:
    • New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required upfront)
    • Current New York RN license (Nursys verification required)
    • BLS (AHA) certification required
    • ACLS (AHA) certification required
  • Compliance:
    • 14-panel drug screen (negative result required within 24 hours of offer acceptance)
    • Completion of verbal de-escalation training from Welle or CPI as of 1/1/2024
  • Other:
    • Must have own vehicle
    • Permanent address on profile must match Driver License/State ID and cannot be from the following NY counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington
    • No scheduling accommodations accepted
    • Requested time off during assignment must be noted upfront; no more than 5 days allowed
    • Dress code: personal scrubs of any color (no designs or cartoons), no hoodies

  • 1-2 supervisory signed references from the past two years
  • Upload all licenses and certifications with profile (facility will not pend)
  • Permanent address verification required

Additional Information

  • Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
  • Multipliers for OT, holiday, call-back: 1.25x
  • COVID vaccinations encouraged but not required
