Description

Job Opportunity: 3W NSM Nurse

Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Certifications

ACLS
BLS (AHA)
NIHSS (AHA or APEX)

Experience Requirements

Must have been a charge RN in the last assignment
No first-time travelers

Orientation

3 weeks total:
- 1 week classroom training
- 2 weeks unit orientation

Role Summary

Combines charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities
Provides on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, compassionate patient care
Supports staff and promotes a positive work environment
Rounds on patients and addresses service or safety concerns
Serves as a resource for clinical and interpersonal issues
Takes charge nurse assignments as needed based on census and staffing levels
