Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must work posted schedule without shift accommodations.
• Required to work one of the following holiday coverages:

  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the following Friday/weekend
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the following Friday/weekend
• Extensions ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered for extension into 2026.
• COVID vaccination strongly encouraged; exemption forms available for review.
• Local travelers (within 50 miles) are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, revise, and evaluate individual patient care plans.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care as needed.
• Organize and prioritize job functions effectively.
• Use assessment data to identify patient care needs, including education and discharge planning.
• Recognize and report abnormal assessment data and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Accurately document all patient care activities (wound assessment, teaching, progress, medication administration, nursing flow sheets, assessments).
• Delegate tasks appropriately to healthcare team members.

Facility & Patient Population

• 19-bed unit
• Patient population: Pediatric through Geriatric
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 (possible 1:7 on nights)
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Any color scrubs
• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
• No call, call-back, or charge responsibilities for this role

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years current medical-surgical experience
• At least 6 months previous travel nursing experience required
• Telemetry/Progressive Care experience highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must have own vehicle
• Permanent address must be included in profile
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application; no scheduling changes after offer
• Work history and skills checklist (updated within 1 year) required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years
• License and certifications must be uploaded with profile

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Licensing

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Facility will not pend RN licenses

Additional Information

• Overtime paid at 1.25x multiplier
• Block scheduling will not be considered
