Cath Lab RN - Travel Contract
Location: Merced, California
Job Details
- Specialty: Cath Lab RN
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, typically starting at 7 AM (flexibility required for earlier or later cases)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Call: No call currently required, possible call availability
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
- Active BLS, ACLS, and California RN license
- Experience with PCIs, peripherals, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters
- Knowledge of balloon pumps and STEMI experience is a plus
- Ability to circulate in the Cath Lab (scrubbing not required)
- Must be able to help train new nurses
Work Environment
- Currently 1 Cath Lab, expanding to 2 labs
- Case volume varies from 0 to 5-6 cases per day
- Cath Lab Techs available to scrub
- Electronic systems used: Cerner, Sensis, Merge
- Equipment: GE imaging systems
- No STEMI cases handled onsite; these are transferred to a nearby facility

- Orientation includes assigned MyJourney modules
- No night shifts or weekend call required
- Provided resources and support for the role
