Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Specialty: Med Surg with Cardiac Drip and Dementia Experience


Job Details

  • Employment Type: Temporary
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Patient Population: Adult-Geriatric
  • Float: Position will float to Kingsbury as needed
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Dress Code: Traveler provided professional scrubs (no logos)
  • Orientation: Non-billable, 0 days
  • Scheduling:
    • Block scheduling will NOT be accommodated or considered
    • All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; no changes after offer
  • Travel Requirements:
    • Must have own vehicle (no public transport available)
    • Permanent address must be included in profile
    • Local travelers (within 50 miles) will NOT be considered

Experience & Skills Required

  • Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience
  • Cardiac drip experience required
  • Dementia experience/management required
  • NIHSS strongly preferred
  • Epic experience required

Certifications & Licenses

  • Current New Hampshire RN license required and must be uploaded with profile (no pend allowed)
  • New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required upfront
  • ACLS (AHA) certification required
  • BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Compact license allowed but NH license must be in-hand at profile upload

Additional Requirements

  • COVID vaccinations strongly recommended but not required
  • All medical/occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance and uploaded to the system
  • Any/all requested time off (RTO) must be included with profile at submission

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate total nursing care for patients
  • Participate in patient and family teaching
  • Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
  • Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting

Location Highlights

  • Small community setting with no public transportation
  • Located between Boston, MA and Hartford, CT (about 110 miles to each)
  • Access to outdoor activities such as hiking Mt. Monadnock and touring covered bridges

Note: Extensions ending before December or starting in December will not be considered for extension into 2026. Holiday coverage requires working specific holiday and weekend shifts.
