ER Travel Nurse Opportunity - Washington (Enumclaw)

Position Details

Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Enumclaw, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
Unit: Emergency Department
Beds/Trauma Bays: 11 beds with 1 trauma bay
Patients per Day: Approximately 35
Patient Ratio: 4:1
Shifts: 12-hour shifts
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (flex to 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM once every two weeks)
- 12:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holidays: Required
Orientation: Floor-specific orientation provided; orientation/education hours not guaranteed first 2 weeks, expect 25+ hours

Certifications & Licenses Required

Active Washington State RN License
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Experience

Minimum 2 full years of ER nursing experience

Security/Patient Sitters: Not specified
Tele/Monitor Techs: None
Ventilators: PB980s
ED Providers: 1 ED provider available 24/7
Lab Draws: Phlebotomists available
IV Team: Available during business hours
Respiratory Therapy: 24/7 coverage
Pharmacy: Not 24/7; after-hours coverage by house resource nurse and nearby hospital

Floating & Additional Notes

Primary assignment at this hospital, but may be required to float within Region II to other hospitals in the area (Lakewood, Tacoma, Enumclaw)
Additional pay when floated outside primary facility (not included here)
Critical Access Hospital setting
Night shift flex option once every two weeks (7 PM – 7:30 AM flex to 3 PM – 3 AM)
Clinical profile review and manager interview required

This role is ideal for experienced ER nurses licensed in Washington who are comfortable working in a critical access hospital with a moderate patient load and flexible shift options.
