Description

Job Opportunity: Pre-Op RN (Massachusetts)

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Position Details

  • Pre-Op RN position
  • Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
  • Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Weekends and holidays required
  • On-call requirements:
    • One 24-hour weekend shift per month
    • Three night calls per month (11 PM to 7 AM)
    • 30-minute response time on call

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years recent pre-op nursing experience required

Testing & Onboarding

  • Pass/fail ECG/Telemetry test and Medications test during onboarding (one attempt only)
  • Tests administered remotely via Zoom prior to assignment
  • Passing score: 85%
  • No opportunity for retake or remediation
  • Study guide provided to prepare for tests

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must submit BILH coversheet at time of submission
  • Only pre-op candidates will be considered
  • No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
  • Travelers who have worked for this health system in any capacity within the last 6 months are not eligible (6-month separation required)
  • Time off requests must be submitted at time of application

  • Interview scheduling required at time of submission
