Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (Acute Inpatient)

Location

• Facility located in Plymouth (state and city not specified)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Alternate weekends
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)

Position Details

• Acute inpatient setting
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and provide treatment for patients requiring Occupational Therapy services
• Treat patients with a wide variety of diagnoses
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Complete all documentation accurately and timely

Requirements

• Acute care experience required
• High degree of professionalism and flexibility
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
• Travelers who have worked for this health system in any capacity within the last six months are not eligible (must have a six-month separation)

Additional Notes

• Orientation occurs biweekly
• All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Manager interview required prior to offer
