Job Opportunity: MRI Technician (Travel)
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Facility Type: Level 1 Stroke and Trauma Center
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, Dayshift
Equipment & Experience
- All Siemens MRI equipment
- Siemens XA Software experience preferred
- Experience with both adult and pediatric patients preferred
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Credentials & Compliance
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid permanent professional license (no temporary licenses)
- ARRT certification required
Health & Immunizations
- COVID-19 vaccine proof preferred but not required
- Positive MMR titers within last 15 years; booster protocol if low titer
- Fit test completed within 1 year (specific approved masks)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray within 5 years and current TB questionnaire
- Positive Varicella titers within last 15 years; booster protocol if low titer
- Tdap vaccination within past 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Influenza vaccine proof (Oct-March) or approved medical/religious exemption
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA test within last 6 months (annual requirement)
Background & Employment Verification
- Ohio fingerprinting and FCRA-compliant national criminal background check (requirements vary based on residency duration in Ohio)
- Criminal background check within 6 months, including SSN trace and national criminal sweep
- Social Security trace and National Database Criminal background check (if applicable)
- OIG, SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC checks within 6 months prior to start
- Employment verification for last 5 years through third-party verification (no attestations)
- Education verification (including equivalency for international education)
- I-9 verification confirming eligibility to work in the U.S.
Skills & Competency
- UHS Skills Checklist (clinical skill-specific, completed within 1 year prior to start)
- UHS Competency Exam with minimum 80% score (completed within 1 year prior to start)
- UHS Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics) with minimum 80% score
- Physical/Health statement confirming ability to work without restrictions (completed within 1 year prior to start)
Drug Screening
- 10-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start (no instant tests; lab report required)
Additional Requirements
- Resume including education and work history, 2 professional references within last 2 years, and completed job application
- UHS Badge photo (headshot, shoulders up, plain background, JPEG format)
- Completion of Safety and Compliance Training modules prior to clearance
This position requires strict adherence to credentialing, health, and compliance standards to ensure patient and staff safety in a high-acuity hospital environment.
