Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with on-call duties
- On-Call: Yes, usually 1 weekend per month
- Weekend work: As needed

Candidate Requirements
- Must be a traveler (locals within 100-mile radius not accepted)
- Must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
- Driver’s license required with submission
- Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Required Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA or ARC only, required for all candidates except Phlebotomists, Med Techs, Dietitians

- Tech Certification: National certification required (e.g., CST or NBSTA for OR Techs; ARRT for MRI Techs; ARDMS for Ultrasound Techs)
- State License: Tennessee license or Multistate license required as applicable
- Additional certifications may be required depending on assignment area
Background & Compliance Checks
- Background check within 60 days of start including statewide, county, federal, and education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and annually thereafter
- Sex Offender Search and Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry search (for TN facilities)
- Education verification required (diploma/transcript not accepted in lieu)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
- Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending compliance allowed)
- Fit test for 3M N-95 mask within 1 year of start (must pass without limitations)
- Immunizations required:
- TB test (2-step PPD, Q-Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year, updated annually
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of 2 vaccines or positive antibody titer with boosters if needed)
- Hepatitis B (3-shot series, positive titer, or signed declination)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive antibody titer with boosters if needed)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (declinations not accepted)
Documentation & Other Requirements
- Two recent professional references required
- Skills checklist and internal evaluations required for candidates employed with agency for 1 year or more
- Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses glare, recent within 6 months)
- Facility-specific dress code:
- Navy blue scrubs for RNs
- Caribbean blue for RRTs (South & Germantown)
- Steel gray for Surgical and OB Techs
- No prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
- Business casual with lab coat for RN Case Managers

- First-time travelers must have over 3 years recent experience to be considered
- No local candidates accepted within 100-mile radius
- All required documents and clearances must be submitted prior to start date
- On-call and weekend work expected as part of the assignment
