Description

Job Opportunity: RN Surgery (LTA)

Location: Redding, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

On-call required: 1-2 days per week depending on experience and cases
Work schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
Shift hours vary between 06:30 - 15:00, Monday through Friday
Some call and call-back needed

Requirements

Licenses & Certifications:
- Current and valid California RN license preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certificate
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years OR (Operating Room) experience required
- Previous acute care hospital experience
- Experience with DaVinci Xi surgical system preferred
Prior Travel Experience:
- Not explicitly required

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
Nursys license verification
Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)
License/certification primary source verification within 30 days of start
COVID-19 vaccine
MMR (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
Annual Fit Test (respirator)
Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
Influenza vaccine or declination (declinations not accepted)
TB test
Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted)
Physical/Health statement annually, must state clear to work
Prime OIG check
Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
Prime Skills Checklist
Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test for CA) within 60 days of start
Prime Color-blind test (annual)
Criminal background check (past 7 years) within 60 days
Agency attestation and employment eligibility verification (Form I-9)
Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
Resume and two professional references required

Declinations for Hepatitis B, Influenza, and Tdap vaccines are not accepted at this facility.
Drug screening for California locations includes both urine (excluding THC) and saliva THC testing due to state law.
On-call frequency and shift times may vary based on experience and case load.
