Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Travel Assignment - Texas (Bryan)

Job Overview

• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech with Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• Location: Bryan, Texas (floating between Bryan and College Station campuses)
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Call Requirement: Yes, 10-12 on-call shifts per month including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Required Experience & Skills

• Must have experience scrubbing ablations, LAAO cases, and device procedures
• EP lab experience required (will float to EP lab)
• Must be able to scrub procedures
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• ARRT or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required

Patient Types & Procedures

• Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
• Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
• IVC filter placement
• Pacemaker (PPM) and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) procedures
• Electrophysiology (EP) studies
• Peripheral angiography and PCI
• Cerebral angiography
• Aneurysm coiling
• Stroke thrombectomy
• Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR)
• Carotid endarterectomy

Work Environment

• Floating between two campuses approximately 7 miles apart
• Average 6 cases per day across both campuses
• Use of McKesson EMR and Toshiba equipment
• 3 labs at Bryan campus, 2 labs at College Station campus
• 24/7 cardiologist coverage
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• Dress code: Navy scrub color

Additional Notes

• Candidates must not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI or Dignity) within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable.
• Approximately 10-11 working days per month including 1 weekend day
• Call coverage includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays
