Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech)
Location: Silverdale, Washington
Position Details
- Specialty: Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Work Setting: Outpatient imaging centers (may be assigned to any of 4 nearby locations)
- Shifts: Variable between 7:30 AM - 9:30 PM, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- Weekend Requirement: Occasional Saturdays (varies per contract)
- Call Requirement: None
- Holiday Requirement: None
Certifications & Requirements
- ARRT Mammography certification required
- BLS certification required
- COVID-19 vaccination required
Experience & Skills
- Diagnostic and screening mammography experience required
- Dexa experience is a plus
- Experience with procedures such as wire localization and biopsies preferred
- Average workload: approximately 18 mammograms per day
- Prior travel experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
Equipment & Systems
- Imaging equipment includes Hologic mammography units and GE DEXA scanners
- EMR systems: EPIC and Penrad (specific to mammography)
- PACS system: Sectra
Additional Information
- Radiologist available on-site for all contrast and procedure exams
- No IV insertion required
- One lead technologist at each location
- Assignments may rotate among 4 outpatient centers within a 15-minute radius
