Description

Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist

Location: Silverdale, Washington
Specialty: Mammography Tech (Mammo Tech)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Certifications & Licenses

ARRT (R)(M) certification required
Washington State license required at time of application
BLS Certification required

Department & Equipment

Department: Radiology - Mammography
Equipment: Hologic Mammography machines and GE DEXA scanners
EMR/PACS systems: Epic, PenRad, and Sectra PACS
Number of scanners/rooms varies by location
No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used
Radiologist available on-site for diagnostics

Job Duties & Workload

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography
Possible DEXA scans
Average of 26 screening mammograms per day
May float/cover different locations within the department
No IV starts required

Schedule & Work Conditions

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (4/10-hour shifts)
Tuesdays off
Saturday work required
No holiday or on-call/standby requirements
No required scrub color; scrubs not provided
Department-specific orientation provided for each location

Experience Requirements
