Provides direct nursing care following established policies and protocols. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions, coordinating care among disciplines, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and discharge planning. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
Experience Requirements

- Positive PPD or IGRA with Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (within required timeframes)
- Varicella: Proof of immunity or two doses of vaccine; no declinations accepted
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
- Health Statement: Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- 12 Panel Drug Screen: Within 30 days prior to start, includes testing for 12 specified substances
Background and Verification Requirements
- Criminal Background Check: Includes Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other checks; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
- EPLS Check: Within 90 days of start; rerun if break in service > 90 days
- Education Verification: Must be completed within 90 days of start; updated if break in service > 90 days
- Employment Verification: Third-party verification for past 7 years; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
- Professional References: At least two professional references required prior to first assignment
