Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Work Schedule & Hours

• Shift options:

  • 12-hour shift: 06:00 – 18:30
  • 10-hour shift: 08:00 – 18:30
  • 9-hour shift: 09:00 – 18:30
• Weekly hours: 36–40 hours plus call
• Call rotation includes holidays:

  • Overnight call approximately every 1–2 weeks
  • Weekend call approximately every 4–5th weekend

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Fit Test
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start, preferred within 14 days; must include specific substances; no THC)
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of September 2025 booster, declination or exemption accepted (declination not accepted for CA or IL)
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start (3-shot series required; titers not accepted)
• Influenza Vaccine: Proof of vaccine, declination, or exemption (declination not accepted for CA or IL) for 10/1/2024–4/30/2025 season
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (per regional requirements)
• Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report
• Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within last year confirming fitness to work
• Tdap: Current, non-expired vaccine required; declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction

Summary

This is a long-term (13-week) RN position in the Operating Room in Iowa with a flexible shift schedule and call responsibilities including holidays.
